Price increases for sunflower seeds were recorded last week by participants in the Kazakhstani market, reports the APK News agency. As of July 8, sunflower seeds rose by another 2,000 tenge, and are currently trading at 240,000 tenge per ton (with VAT, from the elevator). It is worth noting that the week before, the oilseed behaved similarly, but then it rose sharply – by a significant 36,000 tenge per ton. Producers explain this fact by the reduction of seed reserves in storage. Regarding other oilseeds, the situation with flax is stable. Its price has not changed. Currently, the average cost of flax seeds is 300,000 tenge per ton. Rapeseed costs 223,000 tenge, safflower – 212,000 tenge, soybeans – 204,000 tenge, mustard - 177,000 tenge.
