Due to Russian missile attacks leading to power outages and inspection delays, Ukraine's grain exports have not increased as hoped. The country now exports only 5 ships per day, causing a queue of 112 vessels in Istanbul. Export prices for wheat in Ukraine's ports have increased by $5-10/t, but buyer activity is low due to shipping uncertainties. In a recent tender, Egyptian GASC purchased 175,000 tons of wheat at $361/t CIF, half of which was sourced from Ukraine. Pakistan and Turkey are planning to hold tenders for wheat purchase, indicating demand prices. Meanwhile, durum wheat prices are supported by Algeria's purchase of 300-450 thousand tons, and early harvest reports from Australia suggest higher quality and yield, potentially leading to adjusted forecasts.
