The Chinese fruit wholesale market is experiencing a quiet week with few imported fruit varieties and decreased market performance due to the pandemic's impact on product flow and sales. The supply of South African citrus is low, causing prices to rise, with grapefruit and oranges becoming more expensive. In contrast, the prices of Peruvian and domestic avocados have dropped by about 15%. The price of Peruvian blueberries has also decreased this year due to increased supply. Both Dutch and Belgian Conference pears are available, with Dutch pears being cheaper. The early stage Chilean mandarin is on the market, but still sour in taste. Additionally, more domestic Qiuyue pears, apples, and oranges are being sold as different varieties of domestic citrus are coming onto the market.
