The face-to-face edition of Asia Fruit Logistica 2022 took place from November 02 to 04 in Bangkok, Thailand, marking a return after Covid-19 pandemic restrictions. Chile's participation was particularly significant, with a well-presented pavilion to showcase its fruit export portfolio and facilitate business interactions. The country's exports to Asia, including its main market, China, account for 28.6% of its total shipments. The 2022-2023 season saw Chile ship 757,766 tons of fresh fruit to Asia, with cherries being the leading export. The event was attended by key representatives from Chile's fruit committees and marketing directors from ASOEX and ProChile, highlighting the importance of the Asian market to Chile's fruit export sector.
