However, countries like Greece, Turkey, and nations in the Middle East have seen production increases, largely due to favorable weather conditions. Despite the global production decrease, olive oil consumption is expected to fall in many areas, with the United States and European Union experiencing the most significant drops. Concurrently, global table olive yields have increased to 3.10 million tons, surpassing 3 million for the first time in five years.
