Vietnam is facing challenges in exporting its large harvest of fruits, particularly lychee and longan, due to China's zero Covid policy and quality traceability requirements, causing congestion at border gates and delays in exports. High production costs and limited processing capacity could affect domestic consumption. Bac Giang province is taking measures to promote lychee consumption domestically and digitally, while Son La is promoting longan consumption both domestically and internationally. The article highlights the efforts of these provinces to support farmers and enhance the quality and design of their products to meet market demands.
