Export market for Fresh Avocado in Uganda (12월, 2022)

South African fruit exports have seen a significant increase of 3% in 2022, reaching 4.20 million tons compared to 4.07 million tons in 2021. The Netherlands is the primary buyer, accounting for 22% of these exports. There has been a consistent growth in exports to Southeast Asia and the Gulf States, while exports to the UK, Canada, and the US have also risen. Despite this growth, exports to Italy and Spain have declined. Oranges remain the dominant export, but there has been varied growth in other fruits. The Netherlands receives 70% of South Africa's avocado exports.
