Export market for Fresh Onion in Vietnam (12월, 2022)

In December 2022, Vietnam's vegetable and fruit imports reached nearly $204 million, a slight decrease from the previous month but a 61% increase over the same period in 2021. Exports reached $266 million, down 11% from the same period in 2021, resulting in a trade surplus of $62 million. For all of 2022, fruit and vegetable exports reached $3.3 billion, down 6.6% from 2021, while imports exceeded $2 billion, up 35% from 2021, resulting in a trade surplus of approximately $1.3 billion. China is the largest partner in both exports and imports of Vietnam's fruit and vegetable industry.
