The production of aquatic biological resources in Russia is approaching 4 million tons, and while some types of fish have seen significant price increases, the situation is expected to stabilize with a correction in the market after months of fluctuation. Consumer prices for frozen fish have been three times higher than producer prices in 2021, but this gap has narrowed in 2022 as producer prices have ranged from 86 to 116 thousand rubles per ton, and consumer prices from 249 to 276 rubles per 1 kg.
