Export market for Margarine in Kazakhstan (11월, 2022)

Export data for the first ten months of 2022 reveals a mixed performance across different vegetable oils, meal, and related products. While the total vegetable oil exports saw a slight decrease of 1% from the previous year, reaching 3.50 million tons, there were notable variations among specific oils. Sunflower oil exports experienced a 7% drop, predominantly to Turkey, whereas soybean and rapeseed oil exports increased by 5% and 18% respectively, with Algeria and Egypt as the key buyers. Oilseed exports also surged by 60%, and sunflower seeds made up 15% of this total, finding most demand in the EAEU countries. The export of meal products experienced a 13% increase, with sunflower meal being the standout, growing by 31% and finding popularity in Latvia, Turkey, and Belarus. Conversely, soybean meal exports saw a 16% decrease, led by Germany as the largest buyer. Rapeseed meal exports also fell by 8%, with Lithuania and France as the primary recipients. Finally, margarine products exports experienced a significant boost of 52%, with Uzbekistan being the primary importer, while mayonnaise exports saw a minor 4% decrease, with Kazakhstan and Belarus as the leading buyers.
