Export market for Rice in Kazakhstan (12월, 2022)

A meeting at the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia has planned an increase in the sown areas for rice and buckwheat for the 2023 harvest, aiming to balance the supply on the agricultural market and maximize crop production profitability. The ministry also plans to develop a program for the export of barley, peas, and other crops, with an increase in the area under legumes by at least 125,000 hectares. The total crop area is expected to increase by about 50,000 hectares, reaching over 82 million hectares, while the gross harvest is projected to be between 125-127 million tons of grain. The ministry also intends to reduce the wheat area by approximately half a million hectares to stabilize the domestic market and utilize the record harvest.
