Export market for Sparkling Wine in Spain (11월, 2022)

Spanish wine exports experienced a decline of 10.2% in volume but a rise of 4.7% in value in the first nine months of 2022 compared to the same period in 2021, according to the Spanish Wine Market Observatory (OEMV). Despite an overall decrease in volume, foreign sales reached a record 2,979 million euros, driven by increases in bulk, sparkling, and bottled still wines. However, there was a notable drop in sales to Italy, Portugal, Germany, and France, and the performance of exports to the UK, Germany, and China was poor in contrast to a nearly 50% growth in Mexico.
