Import market for Corn Starch in Turkiye (6월, 2022)

From January to May of this year, Peru experienced a significant increase in the importation of starchy corn, with a total of 6,374,262 kilos brought in at a CIF value of US$4,852,023. This is a marked rise from the 2,329,722 kilos imported during the same timeframe in 2021, which had a CIF value of US$ 1,053,002. The primary supplier of this corn was China, contributing 46% of the total imports with a value of US$ 2,258,025. Other countries like Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Russia, and Turkey also exported starchy corn to Peru, with the distributors La Carmela SA, Ingredion Perú SA, Imdelka SAC, Frutos y Especias SAC, E&M SRL, and Negociaciones Horizonte SAC being the main receivers of these imports.
