Import market for Cow Milk in Ukraine (6월, 2022)

The article highlights the urgent need for aid to support dairy and meat farmers in Castilla y León, Spain, due to increased production costs caused by the invasion of Ukraine. The aid, funded by European and national sources, has so far primarily aided the dairy sector, with more aid expected for beef cattle, sheep-goat meat, poultry meat, rabbit farming, and citrus farmers by September 30. The European regulation allows Member States to use up to 5% of the PDR for 2021-2022 to provide temporary aid to sectors affected by the Ukraine invasion. The regional government is called upon to speed up the aid process and provide a budget to ensure the profitability of farms.
