Import market for Fresh Apple in Uzbekistan (6월, 2022)

The greenhouse vegetable sector, particularly greenhouse tomatoes and cucumbers, has seen price changes in the EastFruit monitoring region. Tomatoes are becoming cheaper in many areas, while the cucumber market is experiencing mixed prices. Other fruit and vegetable markets are stable with occasional price changes. Strawberries are experiencing price increases due to weather conditions, and the apricot market is complex with prices dropping in Moldova but rising in Uzbekistan due to export activity. The apple market is relatively stable, and in Georgia, the price for Granny Smith apples is higher than in Uzbekistan. Meanwhile, prices for greenhouse cucumbers are high in Poland, Moldova, and Tajikistan, remaining twice as expensive as last year, while in Uzbekistan, greenhouse tomato prices remain unchanged at $0.82/kg.
