2022년 6월 20일
Australian table grape exports to Vietnam reached record levels in the 2021–22 season, benefiting from improved trading conditions and export diversification efforts, including access to a new irradiation facility in Merrifield, Victoria. This has allowed table grapes grown in south-eastern Australia to be exported directly to Vietnam, reducing the supply chain length and offering cost, quality, and shelf-life advantages. Despite China being the largest market, Vietnam became Australia's fourth largest table grape export market in the 2020–21 season, with a 98% increase in table grape exports valuation from the previous season. Other fruits like cherries and the first official consignment of peaches and nectarines since 2014 have also found success in the Vietnamese market.
