Import market for Fresh Whole & Half Beef in China (6월, 2022)

Brazil's fresh beef exports have seen a daily average increase to 8,160 tonnes in the third week of June 2022, up from 6,680 tonnes in the same period of 2021, despite China's temporary suspension of shipments from some Brazilian slaughterhouses. The Chinese market remains the largest importer of Brazilian protein. However, exports to the United States have also increased. Meanwhile, Brazil's daily average of soybean shipments in June has decreased to 468.42 thousand tons from 526.97 thousand a year earlier, and the availability for export is lower this year due to a decrease in the summer harvest. Additionally, the daily average of soybean meal exports has risen from 83,500 tonnes in June last year to 110,100 tonnes in the first three weeks of this year, while imports of chemical fertilizers have remained steady.
