Import market for Green Coffee Bean in United States (6월, 2022)

ICE Arabica coffee futures experienced a surge, with a near 5% increase in the previous session, driven by worries over declining inventories and dry weather in Brazil, the world's leading coffee producer. The September Arabica coffee contract closed 0.8% higher at $2,301 a lb. Concerns are heightened by the inverted futures market curve and the drop in certified inventories, which are at their lowest in 22 years. Meanwhile, robust coffee prices fell by 0.8% to $2,033 a ton. In the sugar market, raw sugar for July slightly increased by 1.5% to 18.83 cents a pound, reaching a one-week high. Deliveries in July were noted to be around 502,000 tonnes, and there's a noted large sugar line-up in Brazil, indicating strong domestic demand despite significant exports from India this season.
