Import market for Paprika in Peru (6월, 2022)

In the first quarter of 2022, Peru's paprika exports saw a significant increase, with a total of 10,082 tons earning US$31 million, marking a 29% rise in volume and a 26% increase in value compared to the previous year. The average price per kilogram was US$3.09, a 2% decrease from the previous year. The primary destinations for these exports were Mexico (53%), the United States (34%), and Spain (8%). Mexico's imports of Peruvian paprika grew by 38% in volume and 24% in value, reaching 5,151 tons, while the United States experienced a 43% growth in both volume and value, importing 3,356 tons. Spain's imports, however, saw a slight decrease in volume but an 8% increase in value.
