As of June 30, 2022, Vietnam is experiencing fluctuations in agricultural prices, with coffee priced between 42,400 VND/kg to 43,000 VND/kg across various provinces, and robusta and arabica coffee prices increasing on the world market. Pepper prices range from 69,000 VND/kg to 72,000 VND/kg, with Vietnam playing a dominant role in the global pepper market, accounting for over 90% of trade and supplying about half of the world's consumption. As global demand is expected to rise by 2-3% annually after 2030, reaching 1 million tons by 2050, the agricultural sector is focusing on sustainable production, improving quality, and implementing ecological farming practices to meet strict international standards and ensure the sustainability of pepper production.
