Pork consumption in Europe is projected to decline in 2022 due to inflation. As a result, European pork exports are expected to be 237,000 tons less in 2022 than in 2021. China's pig production is expected to increase by 7% in 2022, and the Chinese government is taking measures to stabilize pig prices. The USDA anticipates Japan, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and South Korea to import more pork in 2022.
