The high cost of gasoline has also led to a decrease in the number of boats fishing, increasing the cost of transporting seafood. The highest priced seafood includes Alaska lobster, shrimp, crabs, grouper, sturgeon, carp, and trout, all costing over 1 million VND/kg. Cheaper seafood can be found at retail or roadside markets, but it is often farmed and not stored properly.
