Central Java's districts, Banyumas and Cilacap, have been hit by a hydrometeorological disaster, causing infrastructure damage, home destruction, and crop damage due to floods, landslides, and strong winds. The disaster has severely affected rice and bean crops, with some submerged and others collapsing. The extent of the damage is still being assessed by local officers. Although this disaster is not expected to fully damage the rice plants, it will certainly decrease the quantity and quality of rice production in the affected areas.
