Export market for Sunflower Oil in Russia (12월, 2022)

In 2022, the Russian Federation saw a significant increase in its oilseed harvest, with a total of 25.65 million tons of sunflower, soybeans, and rapeseed, marking a 10.8% increase from the previous year. This surpasses the 2021 record of 23.143 million tons. The harvest of sunflower seeds saw a slight decrease, while soybean and rapeseed harvests experienced increases of 21.1% and 62.9%, respectively. The final harvest results will be announced in spring 2023. The country is also on track for a record sunflower oil production and potential export records for both sunflower oil and soybeans, despite challenges such as weather conditions and export restrictions on rapeseed.
