The drops vary from 5 to 8 euros per ton across different markets. This trend is attributed to slow operations, immediate demand, and concerns about the economic recession in Europe. Additionally, the competitiveness of Russian and Ukrainian origins, further reinforced by the depreciation of the ruble, plays a significant role in the situation. In Ukraine, the government is prioritizing the agricultural sector, considering it crucial for energy supply amidst the challenging times.
