Export market for Durum Wheat in Russia (12월, 2022)

The Federal Ministry of Agriculture reported on the success of the agricultural year, particularly highlighting the significant increase in wheat harvest in the Orenburg region. The region saw a 2.7-fold increase compared to 2021, with a total threshed amount of 4 million 181 thousand tons. This success was attributed to favorable weather conditions, the use of new equipment, an increase in sown areas, and an increase in the amount of mineral fertilizers. Other positive outcomes included the application of 113.6 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers, the sowing of 841 thousand hectares with winter crops, the purchase of equipment worth 5.6 billion rubles, a 100% harvest of seeds, the introduction of 76.5 thousand hectares of unused arable land, and state support of 3.6 billion rubles for farmers.
