Export market for Fresh Avocado in Vietnam (11월, 2022)

Da Mi commune in Binh Thuan province is becoming a significant hub for fruit farming, particularly durian, despite the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and increased costs. With the establishment of the Da Mi Agricultural Production Business Service Cooperative in October 2021, farmers have been able to meet export demands by ensuring clean and safe fruit production. This cooperation has led to lower production costs, higher selling prices, and increased profits for farmers. The cooperative is also leveraging state support policies and resources to produce fruits to high-tech standards for official export. The plan is to build a brand for Da Mi fruit, participate in OCOP at district and provincial levels, and expand the production scale while improving product quality and creating jobs for local workers.
