The Agricultural Foundation for the Development of Argentina (FADA) recently released a report revealing that the State's share of agricultural income has decreased to $61.50 for every $100 generated, a decrease of 3.4 percentage points from the previous report. This is due to increased prices and yields, leading to higher tax collections. The quarter also saw a significant rise in the taxes paid per hectare for various crops. However, the report also highlighted challenges such as fuel shortages and a gap between the official exchange rate and inflation, which have increased production costs. The cost of harvesting, for example, has increased by 83% in pesos over the past year, compared to a 26.7% increase in the official exchange rate, leading to higher costs for export activities.
