On November 6, after passing the quarantine inspection of Dunhuang Airport Customs under Lanzhou Customs, 153 tons of Dunhuang grapes were shipped from Shenzhen Shekou Port to the UAE. This is the first time that Dunhuang grapes have been exported to the UAE.
"Dunhuang Airport Customs opened a green channel for declaration and inspection for us, and also delivered the policy to our doorstep, teaching us how to register and file, and export declaration." Zhao Xin, head of Dunhuang Jinsuiyuan Fruit Industry Co., Ltd. said.
Dunhuang City, Gansu Province, has long sunshine hours, large temperature difference between day and night, dry climate and few pests and diseases. It is one of the four most suitable regions for growing grapes in the country. At present, the city's grape planting area is 67,000 mu. Dunhuang's specialty "Red Globe" grape variety, also known as Dunhuang Red Grape, is deeply loved by domestic and foreign consumers Ai.
In order to ensure the smooth export of Dunhuang grapes, the Dunhuang Airport Customs under Lanzhou Customs has implemented full-process control of orchard planting, packaging plant management, fruit picking, packaging, transportation and other links, set up a "local inspection green channel for fresh and perishable agricultural and food products", implemented priority inspection and "5+2" appointment inspection, and helped grapes to pass customs quickly and ensure "fresh" export.
"Since late October, we have continuously optimized the supervision model and continuously improved service efficiency. Fresh grapes in the jurisdiction have been exported to Maldives, East Timor, Mauritius, the United Arab Emirates and other countries for the first time. At present, Dunhuang grapes have been successfully exported to 18 countries, and the fruit export "circle of friends" has further expanded." Zhao Guanhong, chief of the Comprehensive Business Section of Dunhuang Airport Customs, said.
