The Ministry of Agriculture has allocated the quota for the import of seeds from unfriendly countries for 2026, with the exception of a portion of sugar beet seeds amounting to 900 kg. According to the decree, seed potatoes can be imported by "Rusevroplast" (1,186 t), "Solana Rus" (1,288 t), "Labule" (5,085 t), "Norika-Slavia" (2,271 t), "Florimon-Depre" (169 kg). In 2026, 11 companies will be allowed to import barley seeds, with the largest share of the quota belonging to "EkoNiva-semya" (42,655 kg), "Limagren Ru", "SBTR", "German Seed Alliance Russ", "Florimon Depre" — these four companies received permission to import 42,654 kg of seeds each. The waxy corn seed quota is divided between "Mass Seeds" and "ND Technik" — 150 t each. In 2026, 23 companies will be able to import rapeseed hybrids, with the largest share of the quota (148,865 t) belonging to "Limagren Ru", "Doliny Semyan", SCC "ZP - Pavlovsky", "TD Intech", "Syngenta", "Geomedica", "Agroliga", "German Seed Alliance ...

As of December 25, only sugar beets (100%) and rapeseed (102%) have been fully harvested from the fields. The lowest figure is for corn at 87%. Among the corn-sowing regions, Sumy (73% of harvested areas) and Zhytomyr (78%) are the most behind. Not all sunflower areas have been 100% threshed in Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions. Nine regions have harvested 100% of their soybean areas, while the rest lag behind by only a few percentage points.

In Poltava region, they are summing up the results of the 2025 harvest. The sugar beets have already been harvested. It remains to harvest the corn.
