Recently, under the supervision of the Lüshun Customs under Dalian Customs, a batch of lime-flavored ice cream with a total weight of 2.7 tons successfully cleared customs and is set to be exported to the Netherlands. This marks the first time that ice cream products from Yingkou region have entered the Dutch market.
"In recent years, thanks to their excellent quality and unique flavors, domestic ice cream and other frozen beverages have been widely welcomed in the international market. Riding on this wave, we are continuously expanding our overseas markets and increasing our overseas sales," said Wan Lidan, the head of Yingkou Aosue Cold Storage Food Co., Ltd. "The customs authorities have provided us with professional guidance in terms of interpreting international market access standards, optimizing production processes, and facilitating export clearance, helping us to accelerate our expansion into overseas markets and achieve a doubling of our export volume to traditional overseas markets."
To promote the development of the specialty food industry within its jurisdiction, Lüshun Customs has formed a professional technical team to provide "one-on-one" policy guidance and technical support to food enterprises, helping them to perfect their HACCP systems, optimize the supply chain management of raw materials, and improve their self-inspection and self-control processes, thereby ensuring the quality of exported products from the source. At the same time, Lüshun Customs has opened a "green channel" for the clearance of specialty foods, implementing measures such as "immediate inspection upon arrival" and "rapid clearance" to achieve "zero waiting time" for the clearance of goods.
According to statistics, from January to August this year, Lüshun Customs inspected and cleared 684.9 tons of frozen beverages, including ice cream and ice cream, with a total value of 15.25 million yuan, representing year-on-year increases of 30.2% and 97.3%, respectively.
