The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food is to purchase 125,000 tons of wheat grain in 2025 to strengthen Ukraine's role as one of the guarantors of global food security to form a cargo of humanitarian aid to African and Asian countries. This is stated in the Government's Priority Action Plan for the current year, ProAgro Group reports. In the Priority Action Plan for 2025 approved by the Cabinet of Ministers at a meeting on Tuesday, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy is obliged to purchase wheat grain of no lower than the 3rd grade. "The expected result should be confirmation of Ukraine's positive image as a responsible food exporter and a reliable guarantor of food security for African and Asian countries, and assistance in solving the problem of hunger in African and Asian countries," the document states.
