Prexio® Active provides farmers with a new option for pest resistance management, helping to enhance rice productivity. BASF pointed out that Prexio® Active is the result of years of research aimed at effective and sustainable pest control. When applied according to label instructions, Prexio® Active can protect rice while minimizing impact on non-target species. Additionally, the insecticide can effectively manage most key pests in rice and is flexible enough to easily adapt to various practices supporting sustainable rice production in Japan. Its design emphasizes flexibility and ease of use, suitable for both granular application in traditional nursery planting and foliar application in transplanted and direct-seeded rice. Through this collaboration, BASF and Nissan will develop customized formulations and mixed products containing Prexio® Active to meet the needs of Japanese rice farmers.

Goheung County (County Mayor Gong Yeong-min) signed a business agreement with local Japanese distributors on the 4th, marking the start of its full-scale entry into the Japanese market. On the 4th, Goheung County and Heungyang Agricultural Cooperative signed a business agreement with Koku-no Nori Japan in Tokyo for mutual cooperation and export expansion, aiming to export $2 million worth of Goheung agricultural products over the next three years. Koku-no Nori Japan, a company with annual sales of 34.5 billion won, has a wide distribution network, supplying to over 20,000 locations in 10 countries, including Japan's representative shopping malls Don Quijote and GC Japan.
