Export Overview
From January to April 2025, China's fruit canned goods export totaled 196,800 tons, with a total value of $250 million. Compared to the same period last year, quantity decreased by 1% and value declined by 3%.
In April 2025, China's fruit canned goods export volume was 42,500 tons, valued at $54.36 million. Compared to the same period last year, both quantity and value decreased by 16%.
Export Varieties
China's main exported fruit canned goods include mandarin orange, peach, pear, lychee, pineapple, cherry, longan, and mixed fruit canned goods.
From January to April 2025, China exported 90,000 tons of mandarin orange canned goods, accounting for 46% of total fruit canned goods exports; 47,600 tons of peach canned goods, accounting for 24%; and 16,300 tons of pear canned goods, accounting for 8%.
Export Countries
From January to April 2025, among the 127 countries and regions, the top eight export destinations by value were: the United States, Japan, Germany, Canada, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
Specifically, China exported 66,000 tons of fruit canned goods to the United States, accounting for 34% of total exports, valued at $79.71 million, with a 2% decrease in quantity and 4% decline in value year-on-year.
Exports to Japan were 37,800 tons, accounting for 19% of total exports, valued at $52.56 million, with a 4% increase in quantity and 1% decrease in value year-on-year.
Exports to Germany were 12,000 tons, accounting for 6% of total exports, valued at $15.72 million, with a 26% increase in quantity and 18% increase in value year-on-year.
Exports to Canada were 10,500 tons, accounting for 5% of total exports, valued at $14.14 million, with a 15% increase in both quantity and value year-on-year.
