On November 29, a transport vehicle loaded with Ganjue Flower Bull apples departed from the Nongxiaopang supply chain base in Ganzhou County, Tianshui City, Gansu Province, for its first bulk export to Australia. Ganzhou County, Tianshui City, Gansu Province, is located on the southern edge of the Loess Plateau, with soil primarily consisting of loess. The climate is a temperate continental monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature of 8-10℃ and a significant day-night temperature difference, which is conducive to sugar accumulation. The annual sunshine duration can reach over 2,200 hours, and precipitation is concentrated from July to September, making it one of the core production areas for Flower Bull apples. According to the introduction, the first export of Flower Bull apples was ordered by the Nongxiaopang supply chain and the Australian AusAgro Group, with an export volume of 22 pallets, valued at approximately 320,000 yuan. This batch of apples will be shipped to Australia via the Port of Qingdao. In the next step, the Ganzhou County Commerce Bureau will continue to guide and assist the county's foreign trade enterprises in developing export channels for agricultural and special products to more than 10 countries, including Dubai, Singapore, and South Korea. Minister Song visited the fruit distribution center (APC) of the Daegu Apple Horticultural Farmers Association in Maseong-myeon, Mungyeong-si, Gyeongbuk Province, on the same day, checked the selection and storage situation of the 2025 apples, and said, "The volume that could not be shipped in November due to delayed coloring will be shipped in December." According to the consumer price trend for November announced by the National Data Agency the previous day, the consumer price of apples last month rose by 21.0% compared to the same month last year. The Korea Rural Economic Institute analyzed that the rise in apple prices was due to the delay in the Fuji harvest last month, which reduced the volume of apple imports by about 12% compared to last year. The Rural Economic Institute forecast that this year's apple storage volume (shipment from December to July of next year) will be around 230,000 tons, similar to last year, and expects stable supply and demand of apples in the first half of next year.
