The Milk Producers Association (MPA) initiated the issue of anti-crisis financial support for industrial dairy farms in Ukraine in 2026. The intensification of Russian attacks on Ukrainian ports, the energy system, and internal logistics could lead to a slowdown in exports and an increase in final grain stocks in the 2025/26 marketing year. This is stated in a report by FAS USDA, as reported by "ProAgro Group". At the same time, FAS notes that there is no shortage of domestic farm elevators in Ukraine, so a possible slowdown in exports does not necessarily lead to the spoilage or disposal of grain due to inadequate storage conditions. The National Bank of Ukraine in its January inflation report increased the forecast for the 2025 grain and legume crop to 63.5 million tons from 61.5 million tons in the October report, but reduced the forecast for oilseeds to 18.6 million tons from 19.3 million tons.
